I am a modern day Eponine.

For some reason, I am cursed with falling in love with a guy, someone who I would do anything for, though they never seem to want to return the favor.
Eponine was always my favorite character from the book, and for some reason I love torturing my roleplaying characters with the curse of being in love and not being loved back, guess it's my turn. So, this was inspired by the scene in the book where she dressed in men's clothing and runs out to the front lines to be with Maruis. If you hadn't read Les Miserables, then do it, because it is amazing and this picture will make more sense.

I was feeling odd, so I thought I would draw it out. Sort of like a symbolic 'getting my heart ripped out' thing. It's sort of lame when you have reoccuring dreams where you are on wonderful dates with him, and wake up with warm fuzzies until you realize what's going down. A bit of a bummer, but whatever. I will survive.

And with the lotuses, I don't know. I like them, they have been popping up in my drawing a whole lot more recently.
